Questions: Open Rehearsal for the Jazz Orchestra of Philadelphia
(Performance: Perelman Theater @ The Kimmel Center 12/3 @ 8pm)

Submit your response in the submission box below.
1. How many instruments do you see in the ensemble? What's the instrumentation?

2. This group has not rehearsed this music before. What you are seeing is our one and only rehearsal before the concert. Based off your listening, give me a few reasons as to why this might be a good idea or a bad idea.

3. Based off your listening, describe the process of rehearsing a tune. What did you find most interesting about watching a professional
rehearsal?

4. Having never seen a professional rehearsal before, give me a few realizations you've had about the process involved in creating a good performance. What did you learn about the rehearsal process?

5. Give me three to five additional observations about the rehearsal. This can be about anything related to the music itself; soloists, the band as a whole, the rehearsal process, musical elements that you heard improve throughout the rehearsal, etc.
